My Experience

Listening to the Berkeley community

The My Experience Survey is UC Berkeley’s campuswide climate survey, administered every five years to better understand how students, faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and staff experience life and work at Berkeley.

Developed in collaboration with campus partners, the survey provides a comprehensive view of campus climate across academic, interpersonal, health, basic needs, and professional development domains. The results are used to inform campus initiatives, policy and programmatic changes, and institutional investments that advance equity, inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing.

My Experience Survey results are intended to support campus leadership, academic and administrative units, and community partners in developing initiatives, allocating resources, and evaluating progress toward a more equitable and inclusive campus.
